It was 6 pm on Sunday, so they might not have warmed up yet for the night. In any case, no regrets trying this place, but I am not sure if I would come back for more.
The food was yummy!!! I loved the superb service and music. Can't wait to go back soon!

If anyone needs a reason to move to Chicago, Mercadito is your one and only reason to do so When I was in Chicago, I used to come here or get delivery at least once a week My ABSOLUTE favorite thing here is the steak tacos, specifically in lettuce wrap form. I cannot even begin to describe these tacos. They're tender. They're savory. The TOPPINGS??? THE ONIONS??? Get out. They're so 5 star, they've changed my brain chemistry to try to reverse engineer them. Their flavors are out of this world. The people here are great. The vibe isn't *my* vibe but it's a happening place to be if you want to have fun on a weekend night. Mercadito team Just know there's a girl out there who loves your food and would LOVE to see you on Goldbelly or something <3
