Mariscos El Kora - Chicago

I regret to say that I will no longer be ordering from El Kora. My family and I have always enjoyed this restaurant, but today I had a frustrating experience. I placed an order for myself to pick up through Uber, but the waitress mistakenly gave my order to another Uber driver. This mix-up wasn’t due to Uber, as it was a misunderstanding on the restaurant's part regarding the pickup instructions. Just because an order indicates it's for pickup doesn't mean it should automatically go to an Uber driver. I was extremely disappointed to be told that I would need to pay for another tray of food, even though the mistake was not on Uber Eats.

The seafood is fresh, and there is an excellent variety of dishes to choose from.

I ordered the shrimp cocktail, but it was quite bland and really lacked flavor. On top of that, there were always people coming in trying to sell different items, which was distracting.

I had a wonderful Father's Day lunch with my son. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Just a small suggestion: it would be great to have a bit more mixed fish in the pineapple, as the serving seemed a bit short.
