Charming old-school restaurant with takeout only. I ordered the JBL special, and it was fantastic—definitely lived up to the hype! I didn't even need the sauce I requested on the side. The food is wonderful and the prices are great. Just a heads up: they do not allow substitutions! But honestly, it didn’t matter because everything was delicious!

The best ribs in the city! If you’re looking for ribs that are cooked and seasoned to perfection, this is the place for you. Everything looks incredibly tempting as soon as you start lining up. The wait may be long, but it moves quickly. I give it a full 5 stars—this will be my go-to spot for ribs from now on. Having lived in the city my whole life, I definitely regret missing out on this gem. Don’t make the same mistake; make this your top destination for ribs! This place serves the best rib tips and hot links in Chicago! The meat is incredibly tender with an excellent smoky flavor. I'm not usually a fan of sauce, but theirs was really good! The portion sizes are generous for the price. This is definitely a must-try spot, and you'll see why they've been in business for over 60 years!

Place is fantastic. The smell the location the hot link, ribs. Tips. Feels like ur in Memphis. Only 35 mins from my house. I thought the sauce was Great. The ribs where my favorite. Nice flavor. Not too overpowering of smoke. I will Be back. Thank youvery much for making my lunch great. Love the history and people where super nice.
