Great food, fun location, I loved the dark wood interiors. The food was the most important thing, that was really good, and I'm going back. I have always thought that the Irish should be the masters of fusion cuisine because of their country and their international presence. Everything came together. Note, at our party we had a GS, vegan and meat eaters. In Ireland, almost every restaurant has an stellar GF menu. Lady Gregory was in place for the GF and vegan. I ordered the healed shells. Wow. I'm a pretty good cook and enjoy it. I won't. The shells were unique, the flavors wonderfully balanced, the fusion of taste; amazing. Don't expect traditional mussels. I ordered them again. My wife ordered the Corned Beef Reuben. She was a food, she was very happy with taste, texture and flavors. Potatoes or 5 of 5. I want to buy my potatoes. They got theirs. Buttermilk biscuits with sausage engraving, much better recipe and we serve and we have experienced in most places. It was a truck stop portion size with an Irish pub taste. It was too much to end. Ordering one side of a medium, cooking takes it a notch. I was excited to order a guinness and thought it was the same as an Ireland. It was a little flat. Decaf coffee was pretty good. I like about 2x stronger. The server was attentive and consistent. This is a great local restaurant, with a great local atmosphere, and you get what you pay!
Our server was very nice. I took my daughter for St Patty's day. This place is cute, although the seats fell apart, they could do all together by repeating or exchanging them. I like the fact that they have books for children, kept it occupied my book worm. I enjoyed a chocolate cake from the first disc café. The taste of my other dishes Mac and cheese, fish and chips and reubs Croquettes were all ice cold. This seems to be a frequent complaint from some of the reviews I have read. I didn't send it back because my child was HANGRY lol. The kitchen has to work on it, also my fish from the fish and chips was muddy. But I will return on a less busy day and I am sure it will be better
They were able to put us on St. Patrick's day without reservation despite a lot, as long as we didn't plan to camp for more than two hours, which was no problem and we immediately sat. Host and Server, Bobby, were fantastic. Ambiance was festive and alive, but relatively tame for Saint Patrick's day. We had our first ever green beer to review it from our list before we immediately switch to zombie dust and a local milk store. We have some fish and chips on which was a perfect example for the dish.
They are a neighborhood staple and gluten free safe haven. They go above and beyond if you have gluten allergies to ensure you're safe. Not only is there a diverse gluten free menu, but canned beers, and a dedicated fryer?! Yes, that means French fries and wings are also options. The gf items are clearly marked when they bring them out for extra peace of mind. Been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Thanks for being a fantastic option and resource!
