Definitely more like 4.5 stars. The salmon avocado roll I got to start was very flavorful. The toasted sesame was a great and abundant flavor that really came through. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry Ramen, and kudos to whoever champions the katsu making, because even sitting in the broth as I let it cool, the chicken stayed crispy the full way. I think my only downside was that the food came so quickly that I had barely taken my 2nd bite of sushi before the ramen came out, and I didn’t want to let it sit and get cold. Also, I ordered a hot tea that came so hot I burned my tongue to start. Had to let it cool until my dinner was fully finished before I could take a sip. All-in-all, would recommend, just not if you’re too starving to let your food cool down a bit before you dive in!
I love this place! I’d say it’s the best ramen I’ve tried so far in Chicago area. It’s a lot of food. Really tasty. Staff are really nice and friendly. It’s a small place but that’s not a problem because there is always space. Most of the time it’s empty, which it’s why I want to suggest this place. I wouldn’t say it’s cheap or expensive I’d say it’s okay about pricing but it’s worthy. I’m obsessed with this place.
The best ramen I’ve ever had. I love this place so much it’s hard to put into words. The last time we ate there, the chef gave us some homemade ice he made. One of my family’s goto spots to eat.
First time at this place. Their Ramen soup is delicious. I had Ramen with veggie gyoza. Price right, good service. Hidden jewel in the city. I will surely be back.Food: 4/5
