Vegan sister recommended this place (here no vegan gal) pastries were so delicious! the huge pop tare was my favorite. I couldn't believe they were vegan. burger was okay. definitiw will try different sandwiches next time! I noticed a Mexican vegan restaurant next door that I like to go. it was closed when I left. the personal said it was the same owner. that means it will be delicious too!

My absolute favorite vegan spot in chicago! diverse sorts on the menu and have never been disappointed! some of my favorites are the filet o’ kalish, bad adz baykin and the one helluva grilled cheese (w/ tomatensuppe). definitiw one has to do for vegan and omnivores alike.

I have mixed feelings about this place now :(Some months ago they changed the menu and took the Nachos and some other good stuff out of the menu.We figured it was the normal menu change so We rolled with the punches and kept coming.Today, I see that they changed the menu again! And They took the Woodland Melt burger out the menu, which was our favorite. Very sad about that.I enjoy the food but the menu changes are killing me.

I always love Kalish! We order delivery from here all the time and eat in person when it is warmer (I don’t want to walk to it in the cold ? lol). I hope they bring back the nachos and the biscoff cake because both were life changing!! We have a baby and have had no trouble bringing our baby and stroller inside the restaurant to eat and there is also plenty of space to have a stroller at an outdoor table as well in warmer weather.

Huge ruben sandwich was great...marbled rye, giant meat' portion and Russian dressing. Yum.Home made chips were good.Lemon bar was delicious.Highly recommend for hungry vegans.
