Just Turkey - Chicago

I drove from Davenport Ia. And it was worth the 177 mile trip. I had the mixed tips, half jerk/barbecue , 1 taco, 1 Chicago polish, and 1 turkey Italian turkey with giadenara peppers on fire! My wife,wish her tips had more barbecue sauce, my only complaint was the fries, I didn’t care for them, the next time I’m in town, imma go to the restaurant on 87th, and give them a shot!

Have to be honest, I LOVE their tips, but it seems like every time I go, they aren’t open!! Even on regular days, they’ll be closed, but google says “open”. Yesterday for Memorial Day, I kinda get it, even though they could’ve made a lot of money, but today?!?? I don’t get why they were closed and there is no postage on the door. I just want consistency otherwise, I’d have to find another spot.

Love this place! Please support this business. You can feel the care they put into their products and service! A nice variety of turkey products. I had the turkey tips,amazing! I appreciate the cleanliness of the atmosphere, unlike most of the fast food restaurants in that area. Friendly service is appreciated as well!

I wish we can do better in customer service. I walked in ordering a Chicago style Turkey polish, but I was greeted with a sarcastic comment from Jeremiah who seems to be the cook. I get it, we have jokes, I joke with random people here and there but this was a different type of joke. As I ordered my food, Jeremiah was cleaning so he had on plastic gloves that he never took off and washed his hands so he can put on new gloves before making my food. He said another smart comment as he turned to the young lady who took my order and start laughing then looked at me. I asked, what did you do with my food?!! The young lady responded with an attitude he didn 't do anything to your food, we have cameras everywhere so he didn 't do anything to your food we don 't play like that over here. After experience that, I told them they could keep my food and I walked out. I try to support US as much as I can, but customer service and clean etiquette is really major to me.

I was looking forward to eating turkey tips on my lunch and was really dissapointed that they were closed at 7:26pm when online and the post on the door states their open mon-sat 11am -11pm. Wasted my lunch time coming here. I asked the lady next door if she knew why they was closed and she said because it was to hot outside. I said REALLY she replied yeah you can do that when your the owner. This was my first and will be my last time coming to this location.
