Gyu-kaku Japanese Bbq - Chicago

In the middle of each table is a built-in grill where you cook various meats and vegetables. It’s great fun, perfect on a cold, wintry night.

I recently dined at Gyu Kaku Japanese BBQ, and it exceeded my expectations. The all-you-can-eat option until 8:30 PM on Mon-Thu is a fantastic deal. We indulged in additional sides, with the Takoyaki and the must-try garlic fried rice being absolute highlights. The S'mores dessert added a fun and cute touch to the perfect meal. Reasonable prices make it a go-to spot, especially when hosting family from out of town. Gyu Kaku has become one of my favorite places to share the joy of delicious Japanese BBQ!

As always, Gyu-Kaku has delicious prime short rib and very welcoming atmosphere!

Food was good as usual but customer service was terrible. I don’t know if the server was new but they forgot my miso soup and after asking for a 3rd time I still never got it and it was never comped from the bill. Same with the water glass, it never got filled up once and I was literally dying of thirst. The only thing the waiter did remember to bring was the bill. Yikes. The waiters name was Freddy.

Food was great and fun atmosphere. My family had a blast!
