Ground Control - Chicago

The banh mi sandwich was decent, but I've had better elsewhere. I enjoyed the chicken sandwich, though one ingredient was a bit too vinegary for my liking. This is an update to my previous review from October 2, 2022.

The chicken king sandwich was delicious, but the fried green tomatoes were just ok. the carrot cake was not very good, the cake itself was too dense/dry and the frosting was much too thick and sugary and not creamy cheese as they see in the rule in carrot cake

We ordered the Po-boy, chicken sandwich, garlic fries, and Asian nuggets for takeout, and everything was absolutely delicious! It's a fantastic option if you're in the area.

A good choice in the neighbourhood and I love support vegan spots, but the people are on the money when they say it is a less version of handleable.
