Green Street Smoked Meats - Chicago

My favorite items on the main menu are the brisket, pork ribs, and half chicken. They are cooked just right and taste amazing. A full rack of ribs is more than enough for two people, and I could happily drink their spicy BBQ sauce. The dinners also come with slices of bread and pickled onions. The butter served with the cornbread is slightly sweet and absolutely delicious. The cornbread itself is tasty, while the potato salad is a bit ordinary. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the elote corn was. I also tried the baked beans for the first time, and they were actually really good too.

The barbecue here is outstanding. I'm convinced there's no bad option on the menu. From the smoked turkey to the “wild child” sandwich, everything is a winner. The elote corn is a must-try side dish and truly a home run.

I didn't have high expectations when I visited this restaurant, but the menu caught my interest, and my curiosity got the better of me. I appreciated the option to order a satisfying variety of items by the quarter pound. The staff member recommended the smoked turkey, suggesting it was a must-try, and I’m glad I took his advice—it was definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the pork belly and the cheddar jalapeño sausage. The watermelon salad served as a refreshing palate cleanser. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Great bbq spot with a fun atmosphere- nice place to hang out. The meats are all smokey, moist and delicious and the beers on tap are plentiful and refreshing.

They have great smoked meat, and the sides are also tasty. It is sold by the pound so it can get a little pricey, but it's worth it. It is located on 112 green street. They have Ramen downstairs. I haven't had it yet but I'll post about it when I go. There is also a coffee shop called sawada upstairs in the same location.
