I had good French toast, always with Chalah or Brioche bread, but that was one of the better. The bread is super moist, at the same time solid for a good mix of texture. Well made with a good amount of Pebbles coating each of the 3 discs. Maybe the best part is the drizzle up, it's just delicious. I'd say I could have had another record of it, but it's super filling. Also the nachos are good, although super messy, so you get some extra napkins. The chips are crispy, but very thin, so they break quite easily and under the upper layer it is just a lot of empty chips. The amount of guacamole is quite small, as well as the salsa, but both were delicious. The service was very good. I was there three times, and every time the servers were polite and pleasant and tried to come quickly with us. 2 of the 3 times were during the WNBA All Star weekend and it was packed. We still have a place quite fast and service and food was also timely.
Went for a quick bite to eat and a drink on a Sunday afternoon during the brunch menu hours. Ordered the chicken and waffle bites and a cider beer. The bites were very tasty and served with a side of syrup. Enough to share as a table or to eat solo as your meal (which I did- they were so good by the time I took the picture I had eaten over half of them lol).
Came for brunch and I was not disappointed. Wanted to try a new spot for Mothers Day and I would definitely come back. I had the Chi-Town skillet and it was delicious. The jalapeños were a little hot, but still good. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito, which I also had a taste of and it was just as tasty! We definitely plan to come back for dinner and another Ace Pineapple Cider or 2 or 3 ??
Very busy when we showed up. They took our name and sent a text when our table was ready. Absolutely no complaints. Our server was Melissa, who was very personable and welcoming. Obviously knew exactly what she was going and how to create a fun atmosphere. We both ordered the bacon maple burger and it was massive and delicious. The local craft beer was straight up fabulous.
Finally made some time to try FatPour in the Sloop. We happily found free parking right near by. We went after work and there was quite a crowd, but that didn?t stop us from getting seated right away. The menu has so many great options for American cuisine. We opted for the shareable Nachos (good but don?t order extras like chicken because the additional cost is not worth it), and two 8oz. burgers with a side of fries, tots, mushrooms (highly recommended if you like mushrooms), mac and cheese (not quite worth it). Portions were very large so come hungry. We ended up taking home leftovers. We?d definitely go again with friends.
