El Churrito - Chicago

I was able to use EBT for most of the menu items, just make sure to ask which ones are eligible. The prices are very reasonable and the variety of food options is impressive. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the majority of the patrons don't speak English very well, resulting in me having to repeat my order multiple times. However, I have frequented this restaurant a few times because the food quality is exceptional.

I really enjoy the yogurt topped with fresh fruits, especially the pecan-flavored yogurt. Despite a minor language barrier, I was still treated well.

I wanted to support a local business, but I think COVID may have impacted them. Unfortunately, the ice cream we ordered (cookies and cream, mangonada, and strawberry shake) tasted like freezer burn. We couldn't finish them. However, the women behind the counter were very friendly and I wish them luck.

I like to order yogurt with fruit and churritos from this restaurant. They accept EBT for select items.
