This overall is a pretty bad option in the Bucktown/Wicker Park area. In an area that 's full of diverse options of every atmosphere you can think of, with so many delicious menus to pick from-Cortland 's Garage is a relic in a bad way. FOOD: Is as average bar food can get. Basic af, but with area pricing. Doesn 't make sense to go here for the food. ATMOSPHERE: Employees drink on the job. Employees act belligerent. It 's like they rotate between a sports bar, a want-to-be coyote ugly and a want-to-be weekend club, that 's surrounded by residential units in a non-entertainment district--so it 's just an odd fit. While it may appear to give a local dive bar fit, that 's not the case. Locals know there 's better places to go. This is where suburbanites go to party downtown . COVID-19 COMMUNITY RESPONSE: In one word; LOL. They 've regularly ignored every COVID mandate that 's come and gone. No indoor dining? Nah, they had that. Masks? Nah, they 've served food and drinks without a mask. Social distancing? Nah, they 've tried their best to pack the place. Sanitation? If you want to count a drunk employee dancing on a table you 're going to eat from, sure. Oh but they donated food to first responders, that 's nice I guess since their (lack of) COVID response most likely contributed to spreading. Summary: There are so many better options.

The best I've performed for this venue and hung out as well Karen is amazing along with all the staff! Great vibe, very welcoming and hospitable! Drinks are great as well.

Went for their first drag brunch, and it was soooo fun. The management team was amazing, always made sure we had our drinks when we needed them. The food took a little while, but the communication to my table (plus the entertaining performers) made me forget. The food was very tasty too, so definitely worthy a visit! Will absolutely be back!! '
