Connie's Pizza - Chicago

I've been coming to this Connie for many years. It's right from Chinatown. I definitely think this is the best place for Connie's in Chicago. Today I tried something a friend of mine imagined that I didn't even know existed in the menu. Stuffed pizza with sauce attached to the side pictures. Basically you have a top crust with the tomato sauce on the side. Eat this pizza feels like eating a calzone and Deep Dish pizza combined. On the positive side it is a crispy pizza. On the flip side it is a bit dry because there is no tomato sauce inside. Not something I liked, and I'll probably be using the deep plate and thin crust next time, but you could have another experience, such a shot worth at least once. With regard to the atmosphere inside it is very bright and beautiful. Beautiful decor that really opens your eyes and lifts your spirits as you go and see people eating with a great time and talking to their friends and family. The service in this place is also wonderful and you feel like being served by family and friends and not only working people. My voice for this place was always and remains a big yes. Definitely worth a visit!

We have sunk with 8 children and everyone has been able to enjoy something they loved. The pizza was amazing, we ordered a deep dish with sausages that was more like a pan pizza, I loved it. My son is allergic to eggs and milk and I asked the server to confirm with the kitchen whether the children were grilled chicken and pommes safe when he came back with the food he let us know that the spice on the pommes was not safe and gave us the options of carrots. It is so scary to dine with a child with allergies, I would definitely know my family again and again that the staff is informed about allergies.

Had a wonderful meal! We enjoyed the Cheesy garlic bread as an appetizer. Then for Entrees got the Pepperoni Pan Deep Dish and Shrimp Diavlo. Dessert was the Tiramisu. We even had luck in Happy Hour (Mon-Thurs 3-6pm), so I got a $5 glass of Prosecco. The Wednesday HH special is $5 glasses and half off bottles. Yum! We enjoyed everything! Very satisfied with our visit, thank you!

The pizza was excellent. Also the service was great, but I asked for the beer list and it pointed to the 3 in the menu. It was later discovered that you had a few more. Decorations were very nice and were huge plus. We'll be back.

Amazing food! Staff is very friendly and attentive. Made great recommendations. Will definitely be back.
