We had a beautiful view of downtown Chicago on the river side. The service was exceptional, they did well with their accomodations for our anniversary. The food was delicious!! and economical, no need to break the bank for a night out. The ambiance was very intimate, we arrived just after 7pm on a Tuesday and it was not crowded, we could see it starting to pickup a little as we were leaving at 9pm. There is metered parking available on Wabash, we found a spot just at the Southeast corner and paid about $15 for 2hrs. I would definitely patronize this establishment again and recommend it to my friends.
I let myself be guided by the recommendations and sadly I had a terrible experience in this place, the terrible service of some people such as security and the DJ ruined my expectations and desire to return. I understand that a grown woman shouts you off the terrace to a certain extent, when she already abuses her “authority” to be hostile. And a DJ who, in addition to being uncharismatic (not to say unfriendly), is offended because you politely request a song, shows that you are in the wrong place.
Fun place, great place, and DJ that was fun. Drinks are the
Nice space, the food was really good and the servers were really friendly.
Look I hate leaving bad reviews but this place sucked. They popped up as one of the best places to see the city as a Rooftop bar and advertised being open later. Apparently every rooftop closes by 11 12pm around here. It was 11:15 pm when I arrived there. Bartenders were good. Got a Marg for 22$ which I was fine with if I can sit out and look at the city. Walked out one patio door about 10 seconds later a burly bouncer ish dude abruptly appears says “Bud Patios closed” in an intimidating manner and ushers me back inside. I walked 20 minutes only to be denied what I wanted to enjoy and this place advertised. Bottom line go somewhere else I promise you the hassle isn’t worth it. Cerise if you read this hire more friendly staff and CLEARLY advertise when your “outdoor patio” closes. Also hire better DJs more like Avicii and less like the trunk boom box in the back of that annoying Subaru behind you at a traffic light. You’re welcome. Ohio Guy
