This used to be Hearth and Crust, and since I’m always on the lookout for great Italian food, this really fit the bill. I ordered pollo affumicato, which combines chicken parmigiana with essence of bacon and mashed potatoes. Definitely a treat.
Politely reject the menu when you sit down.1)Order a drink2)Order the fried calamari3)Order the RigatoniThis is seriously one of the best meals I've had in the city, and I try to come through a few times a month just to get the same thing. It never gets old. Everyone I bring or recommend this place to is blown away. I've never tried anything else on the menu, I haven't felt the need to. It's 10/10. Trust me.Vegetarian options: RIGATONIKid-friendliness: Oh yeahParking: Easy streetWheelchair accessibility: Yes
Went there with the family. I have been to there Logan Square location many times and the food was amazing so I decided to try this location. We ordered calamari for appetizer. It was really good the bad part was when it came out we stared at the portion. Let’s just say we could see the bottom of the plate and I did not want to spend another $20 on a small order of calamari. I ordered a pasta the selection was small. Like every Italian restaurant I expected fresh bread but that never came. So food was good but portion was small and price was high.
Rich and delicate flavors! Great relaxed ambiance and awesome service. What a great find in the city!Food: 5/5
Really loved this place! They had complimentary warm bread with some kind of garlic spread that was really good. We got the burrata appetizer with prosciutto, pappardelle bolognese, and the agnolotti zucca (which was amazing). Will definitely be back!
