Blue Door Kitchen Garden - Chicago

Beautiful restaurant. Was able to make reservations on open table which is convenient. Their fried chicken is simply the best I have ever had. Got it with the chicken and waffles and was completely blown away. Very gorgeous decor and amazing service. Canbe a bit pricey but definitely worth it. The patio is beautiful.

This was my first visit, and I will surely be coming back! Blue Door Kitchen Garden has a lovely ambiance that I have seldom seen replicated in the bustling city of Chicago. The relaxed ambiance resembling a local over-seas restaurant with beautifulplants and music. I ordered the steak, which came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. All three were delicious; they were wellseasoned, plated beautifully, and filling. The menu is tailored well with an option for everyone, this is a lovely place throughand through.

Came here for lunch with my mom and we both enjoyed it! Food was delicious, we both got the harvest salad. I do wish the veggies were a bit more roasted, but overall the salad was delicious. I enjoyed a mock tail version of the Lily Pond which wasabsolutely wonderful and I was thankful the waitress could accommodate for NA. The cornbread was good too. The ambiance is verycozy, definitely recommend sitting indoors if you?re comfortable. Only giving a 4/5 because I thought it was very good but notlife-changing. I very much enjoyed my meal but I?m not ready to race back.

Came on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty good. Eunice A was lovely. Believe there was so miscommunication in the kitchen because our appetizers didn?t come out early which wasn?t a big deal but she apologized for it a few times and it wasn?t on thebill. We didn?t ask for that and she didn?t have to do that, so it was much appreciated. The mashed potatoes with the chickenwere cold but not worth complaining over. Will come back.

The food here is excellent and made with care. Highly recommend the candied sweet potatoes and kale salad. The drinks are also amazing and worth every penny. The wait staff here are cordial and very nice, but seem fairly inexperienced. Hopefully they canoffer a high class dining experience in time.
