Bavette's Boeuf - Chicago

This place is hands down the best restaurant I have ever been to. Everything was amazing, the food, the service, and the atmosphere

First time we ate downstairs and it was very intimate and cozy. We LOVED it! Service and food are impeccable!! This restaurant is well worth it, and everything is done to perfection. Get reservations early as they fill quickly. A must do culinary experience in Chicago!

I have been excited to try Bavettes for over a year now. It was well worth the wait and the early dinner time from reservations. The food and atmosphere are amazing, my steak was delicious. The portions here are also huge, you will not feel you got ripped off when you see how big the sides or even the starter bread servings are.

Whats not to like, it’s a cool spot, fantastic service, terrific food/wine, and not crazy prices. I recommend seating in the basement, quite and romantic. I’d definitely return and highly recommend.

We've had so many great meals in Chicago over the years, but Bavette's Bar Boeuf was a really special find. We ended up dining there two nights in a row. We sat at the bar and the service and drinks were excellent. Service was friendly efficient, and we never felt rushed. The sourdough bread that was served was so good we would have been happy eating just eating that. The menu is very extensive, and everything we had including the steak frites, salads, prime beef french dip and the charred broccoli side were all very tasty. We are looking forward to returning when we are in Chicago in July.
