Barrelhouse Flat - Chicago

Great spot to grab beer and or cocktails. They have an additional bar area inside upstairs. The cocktails were well made. They are unique and flavorful. The pricing was on par with the area. Service was good. I would recommend this spot to start the night off or to grab a few cocktails after dinner.

The bar staff at this restaurant are exceptional. They are not only knowledgeable but also passionate about crafting a wide variety of cocktails from their extensive recipe collection. The bartenders are open to experimenting beyond the standard menu, creating unique cocktails based on your personal preferences and tastes. I have tried drinks from both the regular menu and those chosen by the bartenders, and I definitely prefer their selections, mainly due to the excitement they exhibit while making something special just for you. Although the food menu is quite limited, what they do offer is delicious.

The bar is beautifully designed, with friendly staff and incredible food and drinks. The atmosphere is calm, making it perfect for smaller groups. You can enjoy a conversation and unwind without feeling cramped or overheard.

The cocktail bar has a relaxed, dimly-lit ambiance reminiscent of a speakeasy. Upstairs, you'll find a piano and a pool table. During my visit one evening, a small group of flapper girls added to the lively 1920s atmosphere. I absolutely loved it!

An absurd amount of excellent cocktails. Romantic feel inside. Bartenders are friendly but leave you alone because, romance. : Almost everyone in there is on a date I probably wouldn't bring a pack of bros inside but maybe one bro. :
