Jj Fish Chicken Chicago Heights

I'm at The Chicago Heights J&J. It's Saturday about 12:15. They have a $5 meal deal sign posted on their window. I ordered a 5pc dark for $5. My bill was $6.98. I asked why? The man there said because I asked for extra lemon pepper. He didn't inform me about the up charge until after I paid with my bank debit card. There is nothing posted about an up charge for extra lemon pepper. It would of been nice if he informed me before he charged my card. This place is right down the street from my house. I will never come back here again. Low down and underhanded. Sad

The staff on this particular day was pathetic and cheated me out of food! Will not be returning to this location after being a loyal customer for years!

The large catfish was disgusting. The fish was bland oily and not crispy. Definitely not worth $20. Horrible!

The cashier was holding a conversation with another customer for a long that was not work related while me and my guess waiting to order and the food had no flavor even with the so called lemon pepperFood: 2/5

Experience was horrible..fries were not fresh at all..cook and cashier argued over how many shrimp come in a small shrimp and seemed to not care. Horrible! I will not be back. I should bring these fries back up there but I've spent enough money in a lyft.
