Lonesome Rose - Chicago

The food was delicious! Very flavorful. I dressed everything up with the salsas and limes provided. The only thing I didn't like was the guacamole. The chips that came with it were well-salted and warm. But the guacamole was bland to me. The barbacoa tacowas the star of the plate. Juicy and flavorful. Thw fried chickrn taco was also really delicious and a refreshing twist on achicken option. The al pastor taco was also skimpier compared to the others, and too sweet for my taste, but I was still full bythe time I left. The frozen margarita was nice and strong, don't go to crazy on the drinks. I didn't feel super attended to butit was a busy Friday night so I'm not holding it too hard against the night. I will definitely be returning. The restaurantlooked beautiful, on a less crowded night I would love to look around more.

It's very cute. The aesthetic of the place is clean, chill, and relaxing vibe. It's got beautiful plants. We wanted a roof seating but too bad it was packed so we opted for bar seating to relax. The truck stop nachos comes with beans, questo, onions,jalapeños, banana peppers, tomatoes and a protein. We chose Picadillo beef which is one grounded beef perfect for nachos thoughI don't think we be upset if we got the barbacoa either. The margarita was good size and strong as well. Overall a greatrestaurant and happy we stumbled upon this.

NEIGHBORHOOD GEM!!! This is perfect for a warm summer day. The patio is wonderful. Be prepared for the stairs! The interior of the restaurant is also aesthetically pleasing. Friendly staff. The menu is not elaborate but I definitely enjoyed the salsa chips! The salsa is freshly made. They have a kick so if you don?t like spicy, beware! The burritos were different but enjoyed.The taco salad was the star for me! It is my favorite! Drinks are creative enjoyable! If you live in or near Palmer Square,you?ll enjoy this place! Check them out but IFYKYK!

Breakfast with chorizo is real good (and filling). house horchata had that rice flavor shine through, not the syrupy horchata you normally get
