Pun Pun Organic Vegetarian Wat Suan Dok

The last two paintings I wanted here, I couldn't find it when they take the main drive, then turn right after the tempers on the parking lot, it will be at the last corner of the building. nicer place! eating and ambiente remind me of mai kaidee, but cheaper, chilled and less elefant pants tourist (more to an expat and nomad crowd).

Some dishes contain a, but it is clearly stated and underlined. I had the tom yum suppe, which was really delicious, but quite annoying because I had to remove all hard texturized spicy (lemongras, etc., they don't want to eat). the salate we ordered was very colorful. there was no air conditioning, only some fans, so it was quite hot inside.

This is a truly special place. We were complete blown away by the food. Located in the Wat Suan Dok; we had the nam hed song krueng (vegan version of spicy northern Thai fermented sausage), pad Thai, pak boong (crispy morning glory salad) and massamun curry. All were amazing and I would get all of these again. We will be going back at the end of this stay in Chiang Mai to eat there but also to attend an all day Thai Theravada Buddhist meditation retreat in the temple. A

The restaurant is located behind the temple and it’s nice to see the monks walking about. The food was tasty and very inexpensive. Nice to come for lunch but not a very special experience. Seating is outside so yes, you may see a ‘furry friend’ or two... it’s to be expected.
