King Lio - Chiang Mai

Not too many places open at this end of town beyond 6 pm, so this was a lucky find. Decent selection of ready cooked food and lovely people. Very cheap too.

This a small Thai style vegan cafe that caters mainly to local Thai people with an occasional tourist traveling down Highway 108 in Hang Dong … the food will appear basic to the western palate however my Thai wife recons the food is delicious … today we paid ฿25 each for fried rice (for me) and vegetable soup with mushrooms (for her) … food is precooked and displayed in a food cabinet so sometimes it may not be hot (so so for me but ok for Thai customers) … there are also various takeaway snacks and other goods including frozen goods

Great little Thai place food is cheap and tasty. They change up the buffet menu; it's not the same every day.
