Buckin' A Saloon - Cheyenne

The rodeo is amazing. The music and atmosphere are fun. Some of organizational issues were frustrating. It was asinine to have to walk 3/4 around the entire outer part of the large venue to go from the only park and ride drop off to party zone 1 gate. Absolutely stupid. I'm sure there's a reason because everyone knows it's completely stupid. But they should rectify that issue. I was also frustrated that I'm entering first the first time in my life and on the first night for the concert, nobody that was working security/entry or even the information booth guy could tell me how to get to gate (portal) 1. I was told to go ask the information booth. Information booth tells me to go ask the entry people at the main gate. That person (different from the first) told me to ask the info booth! But overall the atmosphere of Frontier Days and Frontier nights is fantastic. Sure, crowds, long lines, etc. but nice people, lots to do, good music (system doesn't sound amazing though down on the floor...very loud and distorted) and a completely amazing rodeo experience has me considering taking the two day drive out from northern Minnesota again some day.

My daughter who uses a wheelchair for mobility has always looked forward to her CFD days and concerts. This year however seating changed and the VIP section with bar height seating was placed in FRONT of the accessible section leaving people with disabilities without a view of the stage, just a great view of a lot of people seating in front of them.

We were visiting Boulder, CO and decided to drive up to Cheyenne on a whim for the rodeo. WOW! This was my first rodeo...literally! We had such an incredible time watching the events and then attending the carnival afterwards. This is a must see event!

So much fun You also have the wonderful people of Cheyenne ! The food is great Snd the booths have wonderful items to offer! Most of the money goes to Cheyenne ! I love this town!

Great excursion!! Parking prices were reasonable, and the buses took you right to all the action. The staff were incredibly friendly. Lots of fun things to see, do, eat, and drink! Family friendly, but also a good place to get a beer and listen to live music. There are rides for kids, rodeos, shows, museums, shopping, and more! Lots of fun!
