Seoul Taco- Chesterfield

I ordered the spicy pork tacos and the Gogi bowl. Unfortunately, the pork was overcooked and tough. The tacos were drenched in grease, and there was no chili paste sauce included with the Gogi bowl. I haven't had it in years, since the time when it was truly excellent, but now I don't think I'll be returning.

I had high hopes for Seoul Taco after hearing many positive reviews, and the concept of Asian-Mexican fusion was really intriguing! I decided to try the taco plate along with a serving of kimchi fried rice. The tacos were definitely unique, packed with meat and sauce, but they ended up being overly salty, and I found them too small to be satisfying. I was also quite let down by the kimchi fried rice; it lacked flavor! Aside from the chunks of kimchi mixed in and the vibrant color, the rice itself tasted bland, just coated with some oil and a hint of kimchi. Perhaps I just happened to get a less flavorful batch, but I expected more seasoning for a more enjoyable experience. Given the higher price point and the taste not meeting my expectations, I would say that while Seoul Taco is an interesting experience, it won't become my regular spot.

First time here, I did not know what to expect, but it definitely surprises me, it is delicious, fast service, beautiful and the price is fair enough

This is one of my best meals in St. Louis. Korean Steak Quesadilla and Kimchi Fried Rice. After that, I would have added the chicken meat to the roasted rice and it would have been perfect. There was only one protein missing. The Quesadilla was perfect to tip. Steak is not missing! Excellent as always!

I’ve visited Seoul Taco several times, and it’s a great spot for Korean cuisine. Some of the menu items are inspired by fusion, and they’re definitely worth sampling. This time, I ordered the gogi bowl and really enjoyed it. Don’t miss out on trying the tacos too!
