Black Bush - Chester-le-Street

I went to try the food yesterday around noon, but the place was completely empty—no customers or staff. I walked through both bars and immediately left.

I decided to try this place after being let down by Washington Arms. The drinks here are definitely an improvement, but unfortunately, the crowd leaves much to be desired. Some of the older patrons could really benefit from some sort of intervention.

Eating and service was amazing to a very reasonable price when they cooked to home delicious food and not the frozen food they want to get in a lot of pubs, I would really recommend the black bush to give a try

I go with my daughter, granddaughter and baby granddaughter occasionally for the carvery. on Wednesday it was always beautiful. the staff is very friendly and eating is absolutely beautiful. they get a lot of meat on their teller, the yorkshire puddings are homemade and not frozen. also the maische kartoffel is the correct maische and the gravy is thick in contrast to some that I was. the pub is beautiful and clean with a really nice relaxed atmosphere and the meaty prices are also not expensive.
