Panera Bread - Chester

The experience was pleasant, especially since it was the night before a holiday. I was a bit taken aback to discover that they didn't have chips or baguette available as an option. I was even more surprised when I was allowed to leave without the drink I ordered to go with my meal. Fortunately, they prepared it when I returned.

The chicken noodle soup was flavorful, but a bit too watery for my liking. Unfortunately, the Turkish sandwich was really disappointing. A good Dickbrot sandwich should have a generous amount of condiments, but I could barely spot any mayonnaise or mustard here. I had to add three packets of mayo and four of mustard just to make it enjoyable. With a drink, the meal came to $19. How does Panera keep attracting customers? ANNEX

I ordered a Fuji apple chicken salad without pecans. To my surprise, there was a pecan in the middle of my salad. I can only assume this was a misguided attempt at humor. It’s concerning to think what could have happened if I hadn’t checked my order and had a serious allergic reaction. After this incident, I decided to speak with management, and they were very accommodating. I hope they become more vigilant in the future, as some people are more sensitive to allergens than I am.

I ordered online for a lunch session. I asked for no pickled onions on my citrus Asian salad, but onions were on it. They were spread around and mixed with dressing already on the salad, so it was hard to find and remove all. In addition, a good amount of inedible chicken fat had to be removed. From three meals at least one was prepared incorrectly, not good chances. That's why I'm not a fan of forced tips for the Preparators before you can even confirm your order is right. Once taxes, a delivery fee, a convenience fee (preparation fee) and driver's tip (voluntary) have been added to this three meal (only one drink) order, which averaged something over $18 per person. I think this is a pretty steep price for what we have received. An employee said he got more for the money from Subway. We often used Panera for lunch talks, often 15-20 participants. We're not gonna do this again.

This is just sad. I traveling from out of state to visit family. I haven't eaten all day and decided to stop at Panera. They gave me one tiny scoop of chicken salad on my sandwich. This is the poorest customer service I have ever experienced in my adult life. This is pathetic.
