I went to this restaurant with a friend from Scotland and tried the double Gloucester steak and ale cake, which was one of the most delicious cakes I have ever had. The bartender was fantastic and very helpful. I didn't get his name, but he had a unique shade of green hair.

I stopped by this pub on my way back to the train station. The exterior has large seating on one side, and there are multiple rooms inside. If there's a sports game on, you'll have a good view because there are TVs everywhere. They offer a great selection of beer and food, and the bar area is a good size and always busy.

Located right in front of the train station, The Chest offers a warm welcome from Amy and Charlotte. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a cup of tea for only £7.75. The ambiance is great and the environment is beautiful. The beer garden is amazing with plenty of space for everyone, including dogs and children. They also show football matches and allow you to book tables for added comfort. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant.
