Notch Store - Cheshire

Here's my new-to-Cheshire, time-to-check-out-the-famous-Notch experience: Walk in, stand by an un-manned counter, notice 4 guys at a table talking among themselves, collect a few stares and wait a few minutes, leave.

Top notch sandwiches... Even better service. Try the horseradish pickles or the Franksgiving special!

I absolutely love Wednesdays at the Notch because it's Buffalo chicken day! They serve a delicious, fresh roll filled with a chicken cutlet that's baked with a special sauce, lettuce, hot sauce, and creamy blue cheese. It's simply amazing!

I have been a customer of this restaurant for over five years, and every sandwich I've tried has been of quality that varies from very good to excellent. The only issue appears to be that many of the cooks and counter staff are new (part-time) and haven't yet grasped the importance of prioritizing customer service.

The Notch serves the best breakfast sandwich in town. It has been a staple for about 95 years, with many wonderful photos of the old town of Cheshire adorning the walls. The staff is fantastic—super friendly and welcoming!
