The Kingfisher is decent. They serve affordable pub food. The staff is very friendly and efficient.

The staff at this restaurant was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They informed us that they prepare gluten-free food in a separate area. There were several gluten-free options on the menu, as well as the ability to customize certain dishes to be gluten-free. We were also pleased to find out that they could accommodate special requests for desserts. My son has severe reactions to gluten, but he was able to eat here with a large family group and did not experience any symptoms afterwards. We were very impressed with their attention to detail and safety measures for gluten-free diners.

We went to The Kingfisher for lunch and ordered a roast meat sandwich and a fish finger sandwich. The beef was cooked perfectly and incredibly tasty, with generous portions. Instead of chips, I opted for a fresh and plentiful salad. The fish fingers resembled whole fish and were also delicious. We took advantage of the discount for ordering two main courses, which made it a great value for money. The service was attentive and welcoming. They had a special brown ale that was surprisingly good, even for someone who usually drinks lager. The pub was clean and well-maintained, with sunlight streaming through the windows on a quiet Thursday afternoon. Despite the cold outside, it was cozy and inviting indoors. I highly recommend The Kingfisher as a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a delicious lunch, especially in the middle of the week.

Had a fantastic time celebrating a birthday at this restaurant. The staff provided excellent service, especially Will and Jay who went the extra mile to assist us.
