Hole In The Wall - Chesapeake City

We dined al fresco with a view of the canal on one of the first warm days of spring. The service was quick and friendly, and both the crab cake and onion rings were excellent. The crab cake was the largest I had during my entire trip, featuring generous chunks of crab, minimal filler, and a lot of flavor. The onion rings were perfectly crisp with a light, thin coating and were clearly made in-house.

We visited this beautiful town to take in the sights and enjoy the atmosphere. We chose this restaurant because it looked charming, but unfortunately, the service was terrible. The bartenders were rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming, making us feel like an annoyance. After waiting 15 minutes while they overlooked us, we finally approached them for assistance, only to be met with more hostility. It was an uncomfortable experience overall, and we won't be returning.

I had an excellent experience at this pub! The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the peach island iced tea. The two bartenders were friendly and provided great service. I highly recommend this place! The entertainment was also top-notch. The Hole in the Wall Ale Lager is definitely something I'll remember and come back for.

Chesapeake City is my hometown, and I've dined several times at The Bayard House, The Hole in the Wall, and The Umbrella Bar. I must say that my last two visits were the most enjoyable ones! The food was amazing. On one night, we chose from the dining room menu, and on the second night, we ordered from the bar menu. Both meals were five stars, and the atmosphere and ambiance were truly spectacular!

I had a delightful Sunday lunch at this restaurant, with a lovely view of the canal from my table. The crab cake sandwich was fantastic! I will certainly return.
