I ordered the prix fixe menu for 1 at my first visit; the, plus a pot black tee (88RMB) was close to 300rmb. (they also had a prix fixe option for 2 but, I am on vacation and there were several courses. one of the hot dishes has, which tasted like quite large pieces of black truffle. the ingredients were really high quality and everything seemed thoughtful. for the second time I was not so hungry, so I just ordered a la carte. for 32rmb they get two larger damped dumplings that may appear quite extravagant in china. but when eating a order of every kind it was quite clear that they were gourmet quality. one of them used black truffles. in the usa I would assume to pay at least so much. 4 dumplings were enough for a light dinner. not a great option for a fast, cheap meal, but if you have a cool, thoughtful prepared meal with plenty of time to enjoy several pots tee in a beautiful and relaxing environment, I recommend definitiw.
Eating was just ok, though well presented and in a beautiful ambiente. I did the Prix fixes, and the main course, dandan nudeln, was simple street food. not worth the price. but nothing bad about it.
They are in an outdoor shopping plaza. they have English menus that note which items have milk and ice. some English spoken and they are super nice. that is not as formal as a teehouse as wistaria in taipei, but it is quite similar. not really at this place for full meal. it is snack food suitable for tee.
Delicious healthy eating in the teehouse attached to the mi xun spa of the temple house. maybe my favorite place in chengdu!
This restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star and sources its fresh seasonal ingredients from a local farm. The dishes are creative, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. This type of dining experience is rare in China and highly recommended. I visited twice during my week-long trip and found that ordering a la carte was a better value than opting for the set menu. The menu costs around 750 yuan for two people, but by choosing only the dishes I wanted, my bill came to around 350 yuan for two. The restaurant is located in a large shopping center, but the peaceful surroundings of bamboo create a calm atmosphere away from the crowds. The ambiance is beautiful, with a good selection of music playing and attentive service.
