Saturday afternoon visit. We had the special bagel as advertised outside. The Salmon was sparse, maybe they were about to run out. We had tea served in latte glasses, unusual. Still a few hours before they closed but a lot of crumbs on the tables and surfaces. Two teas and two salmon bagels was under £10, so quite cheap for Cheltenham. Please keep the place tidy, it's not like it was busy.
I’m a regular at Moka and there’s a reason for it the coffee’s lush and the guys who work there are super friendly! On top of that, I’ve been super impressed with the new summer menu they’ve come up with. I had the halloumi salad very recently and it was amazing! Would highly recommend this cute independent coffee shop whether your visiting cheltenham (you get a lovely feel for the suffolks and the old spa town whilst at Moka) or on your way to work (have been very recently told they’re now open from 7:30am during the week).
Used to be such a great place to chill out eat, but last year (2017) was the worst. Hardly any choice as they'd run out of most things when we did have something there was a stingey amount of olives and cheese. With the kitchen being centre stage, the noise from whistling staff (irritating) banging about with crockery glasses was deafening and it actually hurt the ears. I'll be surprised if it's open in 2018. Pity as it's a great location.
This place is getting disappointing The breakfast menu gets smaller and smaller. The service is ok but they never seem very happy in there. Won’t rush back
