Marinades - Cheltenham

Had a great meal in marinades! very authentic. I asked her if it were in order to overthrow her a little in her curry and it was on the place! great service! highly recommended

... but perhaps not quite as good as we remembered from previous visits. Our latest visit, almost a year on from the last one, was part of an evening out drinking great beer beforehand and fine wine later at two of our favourite places in...the town. Yes the food is still typically Caribbean with lots of interesting flavours, but it just felt a bit heavier this time. Maybe it's partly due to our own limitations as we no longer eat meat?

Absolutely lovely place, friendly staff, great food, great music and excellent value. Loved the goat curry and my rum and fiery ginger beer. Will definitely go back if we are in the area again.

They serve lovely food, goat curry and Jambalaya were the highlights. Great selection of Caribbean lagers and of course rum! It was a bit chilly to get to the toilet, but apart from that a fantastic place to eat. I would definitely return!

Marinades was recommended by a friend and after the first visit I was hooked and told all of my friends about it! I took my friend who is celiac and struggles to find restaurants that have more than one or two gluten free options however...Marinades is the opposite and she was over the moon! On the last Wednesday of every month they host a taster evening which is a great chance to try many dishes from the menu highly recommend this evening. Looking forward to returning again soon keep up the good work!
