Work opposite and walked over a couple of times last week after work for a drink speedy bar service and always friendly and welcoming. Love this place.
Food was very good. Excellent service so very attentive. Only a few minor glitches. It was very dark so you couldn’t see what you were eating and was very hot in our seat so they turned the heating off right away. Overall lovely experience! Will definitely be back
Fantastic meal with friends. Food was really good, service was great. Attentive but not too much. Spillage on our table seen and tackled with immediately with good humour. Food isn’t cheap but it is very flavoursome. Look forward to visiting again. A welcome addition to Prestbury Village.
Having read some reviews for this revamped refurbished restaurant, it sounds a bit hit and miss, but I can only speak from experience and could not fault the food at all. I had 2 starters, crab pot and fish soup, and sticky toffee pud for desert, my husband had cheese soufflé then beef bourginon ,then crumble for pud. The waiter we had called Jack was new, but very helpful and charming. It’s nice to have just one waiter looking after you . Only complaint from me would be the smell from the wood on the fires , I found quite overpowering , it made me feel a bit queasy and I could smell it on me all evening after we left . But, that could be a matter of taste. Will be returning
Now that being vegetarian or vegan is 'in ' we no longer have to make do with mushroom stroganoff or a goat cheese whatever. Yet to find something worth paying for is still worth shouting about and the vegetarian options at the King 's Arms are creative and delicious.
