Taqueria Del Sol - Chelsea

Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. The food wasn't the best I've ever had, but the fact that it's made fresh is definitely a plus. We ordered the tacos, which were pretty standard, similar to what you'd find at many other places. I was a bit surprised to find sour cream in the tacos. However, the quesadilla was enjoyable, with a nice crunch to it. The nachos, on the other hand, were quite filling and could easily serve multiple people!

What an awesome find! While at work in Chelsea a coworker and I needed a place to eat lunch. Naturally, we both seriously enjoy Mexican food and thankfully we found this place. I had a burrito and my coworker ordered four tacos, and both dishes flavorful, fresh, cooked to perfection and therefor devoured. The salsas were absolutely amazing!! I really mean really amazing. I always judge a restaurant on how good the salsa is, well it's 10 out of 5 stars. As for service our waitress was awesome. She was quick on her feet, professional, polite and made sure my friend didn't settle with just three tacos, she could see the hunger in his eyes. Hungry? Eat here! You're welcome.

The tacos here are absolutely delicious and affordable. Everything is so flavorful and fresh. I only wish the tacos were a little bigger. I can't wait for their bar to open! I'll probably be there more often than I should.

We stumbled upon this restaurant completely by chance, and I couldn't be happier that we did! When we arrived around 7:30 on a Wednesday, the place was nearly empty, though a few more guests came in as we were leaving. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and beautifully decorated. They have a menu available in both Spanish and English, featuring a variety of appetizers, tortas, larger entrees, seafood, and tacos. We decided to try three tacos each—barbacoa, al pastor, and campechano—and they were so delicious that we ended up ordering another round! In total, we enjoyed nine tacos and a soda for just $32, and we left feeling satisfied and happy. The service was outstanding, the sauces served alongside were fantastic, and I just wish I lived closer so I could eat here all the time!

I decided to give it another shot, and it was much better this time. I ordered the pozole, and it was less greasy than my previous experience. The food arrived super quickly, and the delivery person even came inside the building. I had tried pozole from another restaurant, but it just didn't compare. I took a bit of a risk ordering it again, but I wanted them to redeem themselves, and they delivered everything I hoped for!
