It's your typical small town bar. Good place to stop and grab a quick drink. The bartender was really friendly. There were a few local regulars bellied up to the bar. They had the NFL games on TV, but would not show the Hawks basketball game for us. We did not ask for food. Nothing exciting at the silver dollar.
I absolutely adored the ceiling decorated with money. The staff were very friendly as well. I believe my parents would have also enjoyed this place. The cost per person was $10–20, and the food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5. I would highly recommend trying the Cheese Curds.
The waitress provided exceptional service. The food was good overall, but the chicken sandwiches were overcooked and had a burned flavor. The appetizers, including cauliflower and onion ring poppers and tater teasers, were delicious. The price per person ranged from $20 to $30. Food received a rating of 4, service a 5, and atmosphere a 5.
A group of 7, including 5 adults and 2 children, visited the restaurant around 7:45 on a Friday night. We decided to sit on the patio, and the staff was so friendly. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fried mushrooms, and it was delicious - not just for bar food, but really good. I also tried everyone else's food, including mozzarella sticks (decent but could have been cooked a bit longer), fried clam strips, cheese curds, chicken wings, chicken gizzards, fries - everything was really good. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with wood tables and a hodgepodge of tables and chairs, and it was clean. Overall, a great experience.
