Huddle House - Chelsea

I work here. I worked a lot of restaurants. One thing they all say to you is the CROSS CONTAMINATION. Three separate times I watched the cooking crack eggs and then took a clean dish without washing or even changing gloves. I said something to my server about it and she mentioned it about my food, but when she was finished, she made other people eating cross contamination cooked meat with raw eggs. This is disgusting and inconvenient. I'm not gonna eat here when this cooks next time. It's dirty.

Worst ever. Our waitress forgot about us. We waited 45 minutes for our food then had to eat our meal with no drink cause the waitress kept forgetting about us. Plus it was nasty. The cook didn't ever wash his hands and the other cook never changed her gloves. The only reason I give 1 star is because they wouldn't let me not post without giving 1 star.

I have been a regular here for years and this has to be my worst experience with this Huddle House. If I could give them no starts I would. I ordered 2 meals. Not even half way through my husband eating his he pulled a long hair out of his mouth. The hair is stuck in the food like it was cooked into it. I have tried to call several times and no one will answer. I guess since its 15 mins until closing they don't know how to answer the phone. Either way this is absolutely disgusting and I should be able to resolve this issue but no one can answer the phone.

The food is always quick and great, but the other night I unknowingly ordered a platter minutes before they closed. After being detoured on the way, I ended up arriving about 15 20 after they had locked the doors. The manager saw me pull up, unlocked the doors, welcomed me inside, and handed me my food which she had chosen to make for me after hours even though she absolutely did not have to do so. I apologized profusely when I realized my error, but she was so sweet and gracious the whole time. Grateful for people like this in the food industry, especially during these times. Can?t wait to continue supporting them! Make sure y?all tip these folks well!

The food was good. The service was very good. The only thing was the hamburger steak my mom ordered was nothing more than a hamburger patty. It was small an thin. When I think steak its large and thick.
