Cottage Inn Pizza - Chelsea

I’ve been coming here for about a year now and so I have enough experience to leave a fair rating. When the pizza is good, it’s very good. However, there seems to be a lot of inconsistency from order to order. Previous pizzas have been on the undercooked side, and now I know to request it to be made well done. Last night I ordered the Buffalo ranch chicken pizza and it was very underwhelming. It didn’t even have any Buffalo flavor to it at all, and the ranch flavoring was very muted. To top it off, they didn’t add the flavored crust that I requested. The deep dish bread was excellent though. Unfortunately, my order for just a large pizza and bread was over $40. For the amount of times I’ve gotten inconsistent pizza from this location, I think I’ll find other options. $40 for food and to have issues with it is not acceptable in my opinion Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50

This pizza is delicious! We were in Chelsea for one night and had it delivered to our hotel. It was super fast (on a Monday night so maybe not super busy but I would wait 2 hours for this pizza, if necessary) the pizza was piping hot and perfectly cooked. I love Chicago deep dish but Detroit deep dish has all the bells and whistles and you don’t need a knife and fork to eat it. The crust can stand on it own but not so crispy it cuts your mouth. Had a rather large group for a late lunch. Had our own room. The waitress was great and well organized. The pizza and bread sticks was the best. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
