The first time we went we got Sweet and Sour Chicken, Beef Fried Rice and Subgum Pork Chow Mein. The chicken fingers were very good, not all dried out like you get at other places. The rice looked very pale and I remember saying, oh God that looks like its not going to taste very good. Was I mistaken! I took one bite and wow... how flavorful it was! I'm so used to seeing that dark colored stuff that tastes like liquid smoke I didn't think it would be any good. We would definitely get again. The Pork Subgum Chow Mein was also very different than we are used to. Instead of chunks of vegetables in a basically tasteless sauce, it was p[pieces of vegetables sliced on a diagonal in a delicious sauce. Like they just made it! Very good, very different. Another time I order the combo plate Beef and Broccoli, Spare Ribs, Beef Lo Mein and Egg Roll. All delicious. Hubby got Beef Fried Rice, Chicken Fingers, Beef Teriyaki and Egg Roll. All very good. Tom was our server and asked him if he had any bread or rolls and he said they don't give them anymore. I used to like getting the bread before your dinners. They should probably get rolls they can heat up when they get an order if they are worried about bread wasting and those rolls are better anyway. JMO. They have so many options on ordering it's impossible to say you cannot get what you want. All in all delicious and prices were very fair.
8 of us for a birthday dinner. Food was good and served well. We had such a mixture of dishes that were very tasty .The service was great and the atmosphere has not changed since I was a little kid.
Hub and I stopped in the evening of 10/30 for our anniversary dinner. Originally, we were going to go to Princeton Station. But, decided on H&K instead seeing it was just within walking distance from the hotel we were staying at in the back. Overall, i'm certainly glad we did! Hub and I split a Scorpion Bowl. We also got some wonton soup, a Pu Pu Platter for 2, an order of Peking Ravioli, and an order of lo mein. Everything was fantastic!, especially the teriyaki, the Crab Rangoon, and the soup. Service was excellent. Our server, Tom, was awesome! He's quite the funny guy. Cracked us up. He also got a few pics of us with the Scorpion Bowl. Ended up giving him a huge tip, he was fantastic! Also got a Blue Hawaiian after dinner. Overall I'm very glad we chose this place and will definitely be back if we ever find ourselves back in the area, and definitely recommend.
Ordered it online. At 4:55 p.m. It was paid with a debit card. Ordering is easy. It is a $3.00 charge. Person who delivered it was pleasant. Order showed up within 35 minutes. Nice and hot. However ,my husband wasn't thrilled with the taste of the teriyaki or mongolian beef. I found the fried items weren't really great. There was a lot of batter and the items weren't crisp. But food was good. I have had better and we have had worse. My husband said he thinks it's about a C+.
Traditional American Chinese cuisine, on the sweet side. Had takeout during COVID-19. Packing was good. Suggest Crispy Shrimp.
