Myeongjin Jeonbok Abalone - Cheju

A famous place for a casual Abalone festival, so they expect to wait when they don't come in strange hours. I arrived at 10.40 clock and there are customers, but no waiting time. Menus are easy, choose what they want and order at the switch when they arrive. I ordered the hot stone pot rice, the part are generous and the amount of abalone. beside dishes are plentiful including grillmacker. the restaurant has signs to show how they can maintainji or pinned rice to eat the end of their meal. more reasonable price, generous portions, faster service, great view as it is at the sea.

Arrived at 11 a.m. and there was a 40-minute waiting time for a table. There is a small snack shop and a waiting area only oppsite the restaurant. The order is in advanced, so when we sit, the food came quickly. The stone bowl Abalone rice and grilled Albalone were simply amazing.

Great place to stroll by the seaside before and after meals. Price are reasonable. The food menu is simple and taste is excellent. Will come back again.

Really fresh oysters! got the fresh, grilled and rice for 75krw. you can eat the leftover rice by pouring the kettle of stock/water in. sweet like porridge

Shop owner was attentive and assisted us to explain how to eat the food in English when she realized we were tourists. We also got a grilled fish on the house. Abalone were fresh and delicious. 100% will recommend!!!
