Hey everyone! I highly recommend visiting Charlie's Chicken in Checotah, OK! I took my family there for a quick lunch while we were camping at Belle Starr by Lake Eufaula on a hot August weekend before school started. The ladies working behind the counter were incredibly friendly. There were four of us in total, but my daughter was the only one who ordered catfish, so she had to wait a little longer for her meal. They ended up bringing her a fresh, hot plate of catfish without even having to call out for her to come pick it up, which I really appreciated. It's so kind of them to do that for their customers. If they're especially busy, just be patient. It's important to treat those who serve you with respect, and don’t forget to tip! These employees come to work with smiles for you—thank you, Checotah, for the warm welcome!
