I came here on a Friday evening to try the wagyu beef teishoku. It was a generous platter of food and was delicious. My favourite part was the udon noodles that were very chewy. I would come back here again. It was my first time ordering from a screen. You even had to order free water by adding it to your cart. It was a very efficient system that was user friendly.<br/ <br/ Food: 9/10<br/ Service: 9/10<br/ Ambience: 9/10
Second time visit to Yayoi. Good food good service. Thoroughly recommended. Ordering style very millennial. .
Tasty and massive portions. Great location in the CBD for a quick meal. Would recommend.<br/ <br/ If you'd like to read more of my reviews, please check out my Zomato page and visit @cynthiaeats_ on Instagram for more photos!
Love the electronic ordering system, flicking off the tablet reminds me of a time long ago when I was single and would be swiping a multitude of dating apps…. Fine memories indeed. Back to the review, love the vibe of the place busy and filled with heaps of energy I thought the pricing was of the menu was quite good for Auckland CBD standards. We ordered the Pork Katsu and the Wagu Sukiyaki<br/ <br/ The Japanese food in Sydney is at a completely different level to those in Auckland, the difference using a Basketball analogy would be like the NBA vs the NBA G-League. The Wagu Sukiyaki, the strips of wagu had such intense flavour, every time you felt like you would get used to it the juiciness and richness of the wagu meat would give my mouth a mini-orgasim……… Great place and looking forward to coming back when I’m back here for work!<br/ <br/ Showstopper: Wagu Sukiyaki <br/ <br/ Overall Grade: A
