The udon noodles are made freshly made giving a great chewy texture. The broth used in the udon dishes is flavoured very well and always complements the noodles. In addition, there are unlimited extra condiments to suit your tastes. My recommendation is the dandan noodles with extra green onion and ginger.
This udon shop is great. The service is very quick and there is quite a variety of different udon, curry and main dishes available. All udon is handmade and the udon is a great chewy consistency however the broth can be a tad salty for sum. The side dishes a great including tempura and all dishes are great value for money. Great for lunch, but note can be crowded on the weekend.
Cheap, fast and convenient. As you would expect from a Japanese food outlet. Decent size of udon with plenty of choice for toppings - tempura, chicken, pork, beef or ontama. Handmade udon which is a big plus, will come back again.
Great value for the best hand made fresh udon. We get our lunch from here all the time. Fast service and delicious soup and udon noodles. You can sit in or take away and they serve some tasty fried side dishes.
I used to love this place a year or two years ago, until they open an array of asian restaurants in hawker lane (in chatswood). I always order #11 the wagyu beef with soft-boiled egg, with udon noodles in a tasty broth hot soup. Great food, with an affordable price. It could get busy during winter but their service is really quick, so no complaints.
