We were with friends for dinner who sat at 19 o'clock and took our drinks orders and then, when we ordered our meal, they told us they had snatched out. Dodgy business and dishonest.
Absolutely terrible experience I ever had in my life with restaurant. although the restaurant was not so busy with small amounts of customers, waiter/waxsin did not seem interested in a single look at their customers who passionately keeps his hands in the air and click on the bell to get some attention. ordered a small dish and hot pot. teppanyaki came 40 minutes later, but surprisingly it wasn't what we ordered. I wanted to tell them that it wasn't what we ordered, but they never gave us a single look. hotpot came approx. 30 minutes after the teppanyakki, tasted but disgusting af. it was too to taste as if they accidentally dropped sugar bottle on the hot pot. we sent them back to the...more
There are many Japanese restaurants in Chatswood but many run by Korean owners and you know when they can't help themselves and sneak in a few Korean dishes onto their menu for safe measure. Izakaya Arigato has stood the test of time surviving a very inconsistent flow of customer at the beginning to offering great deals on Scoupon. I know because I use to work in the same building the restaurant is located and still work in the area. I have also visited Izakaya many times throughout the years. Izakaya Arigato is starting to become of my defaults when in Chatswood for a reasonably-priced, last-minute dinner. Ever since the Concourse was erected, Eat Street has become a lot less busy, and for those who want to have a nice quiet dinner and not line up for tables, this street is (at present) the place to go.
