I'll come back hoping to taste the chocolate melt next time! In addition, the medieval village of Châtillon is classified as a botanical village and you can easily walk along the river or discover the surrounding forest with its waterfall. I add that lunch or dinner on the terrace listening to the fountain is really nice!
Friendly welcome in the middle of the season, despite a record affluence in the village. The waitresses have a smile, The Chef offers a very simple 3 or 4-course local and fresh products; It offers the superb truites of ultra local production archane ... with perfect cooking; Frankly hat low chef! The dessert is also home: I recommend the iced nougat or the lemon Tarte: finally a restaurant that does not offer industrial desserts. In short a very good time that I will renew quickly. The price: just, and even in my sense interesting for quality and this 100% local and well cooked map.
This is the fourth time we have dinner here in two summers 2021 and 2023) and, if we were very satisfied two years ago, we were very disappointed this time. The kitchen is always very neat and uses local products on this side, no problem. On the other hand, prices have increased well, but above all the service is no longer at all: even if we are on vacation, we would have liked to take care of ourselves instead of leaving us almost 30 minutes without coming to see us once we were installed. Same thing at the end of the meal: no one showed up to us and we had to look for someone available to pay. We really felt like we were disturbing when we booked. It's a rather disappointing experience and we're going right across the street. At the Two Worlds, where the welcome is super nice, the kitchen is good, the sweet prices and where the customer doesn't feel too much!

Great reception by the different members of the team. Being intolerant to cow's milk, a goat cheese was offered to me at breakfast. We ate very well in the evening too. The rooms are old enough, but there's all we need, we've slept very well. It was the party in the village so we used our ear plugs for the beginning of the night, after it was very quiet
