Down in the hometown for the holiday weekend. Never dined at Lagonia’s but it was such a great experience. I actually attended school with a family member of the owner, which was even more special to dine here. Awesomeness!!! Kid-friendliness: My grandson loves the chicken tenders and fries! After attending a show at the MacHaydn Theater, we chose to have dinner at Lagonias Bistro. This was our first visit and found it a pleasant experience. The restaurant was neat and very clean. We were greeted by our server, Jessie, with a big smile and a warm welcome. Our order was taken immediately and served very quickly. My wife ordered the chicken Marsala. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and the accompanying pasta was a little over cooked and a little tasteless. The portions sizes were very adequate and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant provides a nice selection of craft beer served in frosted glasses. A house salad was provided with each entree but there was no offer of any bread. I found the whole dining experience was very nice and would return in the future.
