Blue Plate - Chatham

They didn't honor our reservation. The staff was unfriendly and reluctant to seat us due to being understaffed.

The Blue Plate has always been my top choice in Chatham, and it remains one of my favorites, although RJ's is definitely growing on me!

The food was good, but the waitstaff was a bit forgetful. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person ranged from $30 to $50. I would rate the food at 4 out of 5, the service at 3, and the atmosphere at 3.

I’m really disappointed with this restaurant. It used to be my favorite, but it seems there's a new owner and management now. They no longer serve bread, and the chicken is nothing special—it used to be top-notch and outstanding. The appetizers were decent, but charging $16 for four tiny ribs is not acceptable. Everything is worse and more expensive now. The wine selection isn’t impressive either. It was once such a fantastic place, but not anymore. The tres leches dessert was very disappointing, and the water for the tea wasn’t boiled. It's frustrating to see the same restaurant lose its quality while prices increase. They really need to do better.
