The flight holders were impressive, and there was a wide range of merchandise available. The cool wallpaper added to the ambiance, and they even have games and a pool table. We visited about ten different breweries, and this one was definitely my favorite. I would HIGHLY recommend it!
The menu offers generous portions, but the quality leaves much to be desired. Many of the beers have a noticeable yeast smell and some unfiltered particles floating in the glass. The ambiance is quite dull, and it can be pretty chilly inside, so I recommend bringing a warm jacket if you decide to visit. On a positive note, the service was decent and the staff were friendly. Overall, there is significant potential for improvement in both the quality and flavor of their beers, as well as the overall atmosphere.
We went on a Friday night and found it to be quite empty, which allowed us to have conversations since the music wasn't too loud. This place is perfect for playing pool or borrowing one of their many board games to enjoy with a friend. They also offer a good selection of beers and seltzers.
PawPrint brewery, themed around dogs, had a lovely cold floor, plenty of space to sprawl out, and a nice corner to chill out and relax after a long day of brewery hopping. Bruno's opinion was that he got to say Hi to a lot of dogs, got lots of pets, and was the celebratory of the joint. My opinion was that the beer was great, flight board adorable, and enough on the tap list to make it hard to choose. Funky Fido: A light lager packed with banana and fudge flavor. Surprisingly tasted like a banana split with hints of vanilla and strong banana sweet chocolate notes. Tasted like a dessert, even with the lager body. Czech Out My Dog: A traditional Czech Pilsner with low hop profile expressing an expected spiciness. Cracker bread malt profile and balance leans towards the malt. Crisp, clean, and refreshing! 6 Foot Lead: Similar to the Czech Pilsner, just a traditional down to earth Hefeweizen. Banana and clove forward lager with a light body. My favorite of the four I had. The fruitiness of the banana doesn't taste artificial or palate crushing, which happens sometimes. Loved it! Bomb Dog: A New England style IPA that the beertender poured for me when I asked for her choice of IPA. She said that this was their best selling IPA. It was served with pop rocks and I was to take a gulp of pop rocks after taking a sip of the beer. Not gonna lie, it was delicious it made the tropical and citrus flavors explode (literally and figuratively) as the pop rocks went off while also reminding me of my childhood. Not overly sweet and one of the more fun IPA experiences I've had! ________________
When going to a microbrewery in a small town like this for the first time, I was expecting OK beer, smaller selection, not much merch available, etc. All expectations were exceeded. I enjoyed every beer I sampled, and all of them were good beer, not just OK. Great service as well. Better beer, and a larger menu than some larger craft breweries I've been to in the area.
