La Guinguette de Belle Isle

Dogs were allowed and theh gave a dog water bowl. Happy to speak in eighef english or french. Good quick service will good menu choice and well cooked. It was a dark so did not benefit from the view over ghe lake but we had seen it in daytime and it was very pleasant

We were staying in the campsite close by and decided that as our last night on Holiday we would eat here in the parc, was surprised to find they had a group singing on the night so that was good. we were not rushed to order our drinks and food, but left to chose so we could enjoy the scenary overlooking the lake and the sunset. drinks served in good time and food order taken, as you would expect a very busy night for them, but did not have to wait too long to get the food on the table. terrine started was home made, and the entrecote special was cooked just right with great flavour as was the wife tataki thon, wine was good for a carafe and the whole atmosphere was great would recommend if you are staying in the campsite

This was recommended to us during a visit to the area and so glad we tried it . After a morning sightseeing and not finding any suitable eateries in Issoudin we opted to drive over to Belle Isle. It's well worth a visit and we will be going back again to take advantage of taking a stroll round the very pretty lake. The Guingette had an excellent choice of menu and was really delicious . Great family place with much to do for all ages.

Le cadre autour du restaurant est magnifique , le dîner était bon , le saumon était bon , le steack ( peu mieux faire)le dessert parfait . Nous y retournerons.

Un restaurant fort sympa en bordure du lac. Une réservation souhaitable pour une table bien placée, les salades sont extra et la vue très agréable.
